From Lab to Market

Overview
Academic research at BIOPOLIS-CIBIO is generating knowledge and technologies with real potential to transform industries, from biodiversity monitoring and conservation to biotechnology, genomics, and environmental services. Yet the path from a laboratory breakthrough to a market-ready solution is rarely straightforward.
This half-day session is designed to help BIOPOLIS-CIBIO researchers explore that journey: what it takes to engage with the private sector, how to protect and commercialise research results, and what industry partners are actually looking for.
Whether you are curious about launching a spin-off, licensing your findings, or shaping a collaborative R&D project with a corporate partner, this session offers practical insights and a confidential space to start mapping your own path.
